Bilingual (Spanish) Telephone Triage RN (Remote)

Triage Spanish-speaking patients directly in their own language. Bilingual triage RNs handle after-hours clinical calls in Spanish and English, so patients get care advice without relaying through an interpreter.

- Answer clinical calls routed from our client practices' answering services and perform telephone triage using Schmitt-Thompson protocols
- Assess symptoms, determine the appropriate level of care, and give clear care advice
- Escalate to the practice's on-call provider according to each client's criteria
- Document every call accurately in a nursing note
- Conduct triage calls in Spanish and English
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Fluency in spoken Spanish and English
- Acute care nursing experience
- Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, private, HIPAA-appropriate home workspace
Preferred
- California and/or Oregon RN licenses
- Multistate (Nurse Licensure Compact) license
- Prior telephone triage experience
- Pediatric acute care experience
